Chao Xu is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Uppsala University, Sweden. His research focuses on the green synthesis and engineering of functional porous materials, including covalent organic frameworks (COFs) and porous organic polymers (POPs), with applications in adsorption and separation, catalysis, and energy storage and harvesting.
